Kiki, the Chimpanzee

Meet Kiki, the head guard of our circus. He looks very gentle, but he can be quite fearsome if he or his friends are threatened in any way. He can express four separate emotions, and react to his environment using his sensors.

Kiki is an animatronic, an amalgam of “animation” and “electronic” – in other words, a moving creature full of electronic components activated by remote control. Animatronics are widely used in films: the shark in Jaws, E.T. and the Gremlins were all animatronics.
