1. Is there a place where we can eat?
Yes, there are several spaces at the Centre where groups
can have lunch; over 480 places are available. These
places must be reserved, preferably at the time of your
reservation for the Centre's activities. The available
time slots are: 11:15 a.m., 12:10 p.m. and 1:05 p.m.
Each group is allowed 30 minutes for lunch.
2. How much time does it take to do all the activities?
We suggest 45 to 60 minutes for each exhibition hall.
Add 10 to 15 minutes to get from one hall to the other.
If you wish to visit all three halls, we suggest that
you plan 2½ to 3 hours for the entire tour. If you are
also including the screening of an IMAX® film, figure
an entire day (about 4 to 5 hours)
3. Are there animators in the exhibition halls (for
guided visits)?
There are animators in each hall to answer your questions.
If you would like to have an animator dedicated to your
group, ask for a guided visit when reserving.
4. At what time should we arrive at the Science Centre?
You should be at the Centre 30 minutes before the beginning
of your first activity. The Centre opens at 8:30 a.m.
5. How do we organize moving around from one hall
to the other at the Centre?
When you are reserving your activities, the advisor
will propose a visit schedule. The advisor will also
indicate the time of each activity on a plan of the
Science Centre, to help you in your planning. All you
have to do is bring this plan with you to the Centre
on the day of your visit: all the key information is
there!
6. Is there a space where we can leave our personal
effects?
You can leave all your personal effects in one of the
lunch rooms. Each one is equipped with a cloakroom.
7. Do handicaped persons have access to the Centre?
Of course! Each one of the Centre's halls is accessible
to disabled persons. The corridors leading to the different
spaces are very wide and the interior of the halls has
been planned keeping in mind the needs of this clientele.
Two elevators, located near the entrance, in the main
lobby, are available to allow access to the halls on
the 2nd floor and to the IMAXâ Theatre. The Theatre
can accommodate up to 8 persons in wheel chairs: the
reserved spaces are located in the back and an accompanying
adult or child can sit next to the disabled person.
