Water in the Universe

Mix two little hydrogen atoms with one oxygen atom and ta-dah…! Water! Albeit small, this molecule is of great importance. In liquid form, water is essential to life as we know it. This is why we actively look for it throughout the Universe. Come admire objects like none other that bear witness to our quest for water, including a lunar rock you can touch! Collected on the Moon in 1972 as part of the Apollo 17 mission, this lunar rock is 3.8 billion years old and is one of only 10 others like it here on Earth… and the very first available to us here in Québec.
