Montreal Music Improvisation League
Musicians will go head-to-head with live music improvisations that are as creative as they are spontaneous. Using a theme chosen by the audience, a clip suggested by a DJ, a film idea or whatever other inspiration grabs them, these musicians will use their talent and imagination to make you laugh and dance. (40 minutes)

Baratanga
Whether rhythm lies deep inside of you or you were born with it, Baratanga will liberate it. With over one hundred instruments at the players’ disposal, everyone will find an instrument that suits them best. Follow the tempo! (30 minutes)

It’s well known that music calms certain behaviours. Did you know that it can also help individuals accomplish significant tasks on a daily basis? Experience instrumental and vocal improvisation led by music therapy professionals and discover this little-known field that uses music to improve lives. (30 minutes)

Return to the era of velour curtains and movie reel projectors. Roman Zavada will accompany a series of silent films from the 1920’s on the piano. Immerse yourself in the ambiance of films from this era, and discover science-fiction while watching! (35 minutes)

School of Rock ‘n’ Roll
Have you always wanted to be a monster on the drums, or an electric guitar god? Today is the day! In less than 20 minutes, the School of Rock ‘n’ Roll will initiate you into the family of rockers!

Watch an electric guitar be disassembled by a lute maker-recycler who will share his passion. He will also show you the guitars that you could win if you participate in our contest.
