FAQ - Monthly Parking

You must take a ticket at the entrance and pay the daily rate to exit.

You must place the card on the beige reader, to the right. There is no precise way. Do not pair your card with another smart card (such as an ID or credit card).

No, a wire runs inside the plastic to allow the card to function. By piercing the card, you risk breaking the wire and therefore rendering your card non-functional.

Inform us as soon as possible. Fees apply to obtain a new card.

No, the card belongs to you. You paid to purchase it. You can keep it for future use. If you return it to us, there will be no refund.

When you are in the renewal period, you can renew directly at the exit. By scanning your card, the system offers you to renew. If you wish to do so, simply follow the on-screen instructions to make payment. If you do not wish to renew immediately, simply press “Cancel” and the barrier will open.
Ask at the parking service counter to find out your renewal period.

As long as your card is not active or renewed, you must take an ticket at the entrance and pay the daily rate to exit.

When you are in your renewal period, the entry terminal will show on the screen: “consider renewing”.

  • At the exit terminal: By scanning your card, during your renewal period, the price will be displayed. Simply follow the on-screen instructions to make payment.
  • At the pay station: By scanning your card on the subscription icon, follow the renewal and payment instructions on the screen. Please note that payment for renewal can only be made by credit card; no cash will be accepted.
  • Online: It is possible to renew online via the Old Port of Montreal website. Go to the “Plan your visit” page at https://www.oldportofmontreal.com/visitor-info or using the attached QR code. You must create an account. It is important to use the email address you provided to us so that your file is associated. Under the “My Subscriptions” menu, you can renew your monthly payment. Your card can be used in the following minutes.
  • At the parking service counter: When you are outside your renewal period, by appointment. Our contact details can be found below or via our booking site.
