Rock'n' Roll Marbles

Tourbillon likes to collect marbles and adores games where his marbles tumble, turn, roll and spin! The longer the marbles roll, the happier he is! He invites children to build marble runs with a collection fun objects. The challenge is to make the marbles travel for the longest time possible!

Planet of the Senses

Humanity must send a robot on a mission to find a new habitable planet. Sensor the Super Robot has five senses but needs to learn why humans need these senses and how they use them. Students must program and train Sensor and together they discover how our senses allow us to explore our environment.

Techno Garden

NEW THIS SUMMER : An urban techno garden at the end of the quay near the Science Centre! 

The Techno Garden will be controlled by an artificial intelligence called B-RAIN designed to support plant life! Young visitors can come and observe and analyze the needs of fruits and vegetables to then build an irrigation system. 

An opportunity to children to experiment with participatory science in a fun outdoor setting and learn how to design the gardens of the future!

This activity asks students to create sound effects and lighting for an Indigenous tale. To prepare themselves, students participate in different experiments and have fun mastering sound effects with a variety of objects and exploring lighting effects with different projectors.

Pulleys, gears, levers... As a team, students assemble different machine parts, perform tests, and dress up the machines as creatures. An activity specially designed to use everyday reusable items.

While on an expedition to Nunavut, your plane's electrical system fails! Your teams must get to work. You absolutely need electricity and you must find a way to produce it with available resources, such as water, wind, bicycles and airplane engines. You must make the radio work to send out you SOS distress signal!
