Fun-filled and educational, this miniature neighbourhood is a place for kids and preschoolers to explore the environmental side of their everyday lives. It's never too early to become an eco-citizen, especially with fun and easy science activities like these!

The City Zone has an urban garden and a small bulk food store where kids can plant and harvest vegetables, shop local products, learn about weights and volumes, explore aromas, and fill their lunchbox.

Crossing the bridge into the River Zone brings kids into one of our homegrown ecosystems. They can listen to animal noises and go fishing on the riverside to find fish native to Québec’s rivers.

The Forest Zone is a veritable paradise for those busy little hands. Real rocks and tree bark to touch, autumn leaves to toss about, and animal tracks to follow. This is also the place of the Lair of the Little Ones, filled with activities and the wonders of the forest. Made for families with children 0 to 2 years old.

Immense illustrated frescos introduce young visitors to the many “inhabitants” of the city, the river, and the forest.

How do you say “carrot” in Spanish? Zanahoria! Thanks to a space filled with translated words, families can learn new words in different languages they’ll hear around Montréal, French and English, but also Haitian Creole, Arabic, Spanish, and Chinese.

The Mini Mondo space also features a breastfeeding room and a family-size washroom to help make the exhibition visit a little easier on moms and dads.
