Presented by Audrey Dussutour, Research Directors at France’s CNRS, world expert on blobs

What are blobs? Blobs are bizarre unicellular organisms that inhabit our forests and keep surprising us. Seemingly simple, blobs in fact have stunning abilities such as decision making, problem solving, regeneration, learning, memory, and cooperation.

Talks begin with a panel discussion with science professionals and students working at AWS or UQAM’s Faculty of Science.

Seating is limited! Reserve your spot now!

Chloé Savard is a Montréal-based microbiologist that only discovered the world of microscopy three years ago. Trained as a musician, Chloé (aka @tardibabe - she is a fan of tardigrades!) will introduce you to a minuscule little world and tell stories about her unusual journey from music to microscopy. Using her Instagram, TikTok and YouTube channel, she transforms what the naked eye cannot see into art and teaches audiences about the fragility of these teeny-tiny organisms. A talk and a feast for the eyes!
