An Activity Inspired by Traditional Indigenous Stories – September 28th and 29th only

Celebrate our National Day for Truth and Reconciliation with your family by bringing an Indigenous story to life.

Canada’s National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a special day set aside to promote our efforts to walk a shared path with Indigenous Peoples towards reconciliation. This day is an opportunity to honour the children who never got to go home and honour residential school survivors, their families, and their communities.

Add sound and light to a production of an Indigenous story with a variety of different objects and explore stage lighting effects using different projectors just like a real stage technician. Take part in the production of the show alongside our science educators and have fun exploring the mysteries of light and sound.
