Workshop details

Humanity must send a robot on a mission to find a new habitable planet. Sensor the Super Robot has five senses but needs to learn why humans need these senses and how they use them. Students must program and train Sensor and together they discover how our senses allow us to explore our environment.

Activities

The children will:

  1. Explore their five main senses: taste, smell, hearing, touch and sight.
  2. Participate in a relay race to identify, with their senses, the pleasant sensations, or pleasures, and the unpleasant sensations, or dangers.
  3. Program the Sense explorer robot and send it to discover a new planet that can accommodate human beings.
