A Day of Fun Family Competition to Mark the End of the Summer Holidays!
Come take part in an unforgettable day! Join us and compete in a friendly and exciting championship and enjoy a visit of Hockey: Faster Than Ever and our four permanent exhibitions too! A benefit event filled with fun all in support of the Montréal Science Centre Foundation!
* Players must be at least 6 years old.
Register your team of 2 to 6 people now and choose one of five tournament slots. Using a “progressive” format, teams will have an hour to let loose and compete in a series of action-packed two-minute games! Guaranteed fun and no eliminations! Plus… BONUS! Everyone wins a prize!
Each tournament features 10 tables where 20 teams will play all at the same time. A total of 60 teams are expected to enter the championship. Who will you recruit to play for your team? One thing is for sure, it’s going to be a laugh riot!
Register and enjoy all the championship activities plus access all the Science Centre’s exhibitions for the day.
The day’s events will also feature lots of family fun, including a giant air hockey puck demo, an open-play floor hockey rink, a photobooth, and a series of hosted activities.
In addition, coffee and Timbits will be available to all players, thanks to Tim Horton, to keep them energized!
Your championship ticket gives you access to the Science Centre’s exhibitions, including Hockey: Faster Than Ever, a behind-the-scenes look at the world of hockey.
Winners of all five tournaments will receive a miniature Stanley Cup and a family combo ticket (Exhibitions + IMAX® film) valid for one year — your ticket to come and visit our upcoming feature exhibitions! Every team taking part in the championship will receive a Tim Horton's gift card as participation prize and each child will receive a professional puck. And that's not all! A grand draw will be held to win :
- A loge to watch a 2023-24 regular season Rocket de Laval game at Place Bell, including an indoor parking pass and a snacks and service package.
- One of six guided visits of the Bell Centre (good for four people) to explore areas not usually accessible to the public!
All proceeds from the event will go to the Montréal Science Centre Foundation to support its mission to help the leaders of tomorrow discover and learn about science and tech and make it their own as they prepare for the future.
The Foundation also funds all of the Science Centre’s permanent exhibitions and its school programs, including its Science Centre On the Road program. The Foundation’s work also helps less privileged youth and families enjoy the Science Centre with free visits all in an effort to make the Science Centre evermore accessible and inclusive.
