2 dinosaur pictures kids can colour!
Have you visited the Dinosaurs Around the World exhibition and seen Dinosaurs of Antarctica 3D at the Science Centre's IMAX®TELUS theatre?
If so, chances are your kids are all about dinos now! Here’s a treat for them! Our team has prepared drawings of Cryolophosaurus and Glacialisaurus for them to colour in!
Their names give you a clue about where they were both discovered in Antarctica! More precisely in the Hanson formation, a fossil site (rich in fossils) that has given us the precious remains of different dinosaurs. These two both lived in the Jurassic period and were about 20 feet long.
Glacialisaurus was an early Jurassic herbivore. With its long neck, it could reach the highest leaves!

As for Cryolophosaurus, it was a giant reptile whose name means "ice-crested lizard"... nicknamed "Elvisaurus" by paleontologists, because its crest reminded them of the hairstyle of singer Elvis Presley!
