On Saturday, November 16, 2024, the Montréal Science Centre organized a special event to benefit its Foundation: Wacky Experiments and Wild Desserts in connection with its exhibition Banquet.

Wow! Over 600 people joined us for the year’s craziest scientific experience alongside the colourful chemist Yannick Bergeron! Their curiosity, enthusiasm, and flair for culinary adventure made it an unforgettably magical event. 🎉

With the help of the crowds, we put on a spectacular science show, took our creativity to new heights, and shared in some giggly, gooey goodness! The culinary feats we achieved together were a veritable triumph! 🍭

And topping off this celebration of silly science was Yannick Bergeron’s astounding chemistry show! Laughter, wonder, and lively participation made this a truly exceptional experience. 🌟

All proceeds from the event’s ticket sales have been donated to the Montréal Science Centre Foundation to fund the production of new exhibitions and school programs. All in all, the event was a roaring success! 🚀
