Celebrate Earth Day!
This Saturday, April 22, is Earth Day! The very first Earth Day was held back in 1970 and was started to encourage individual citizens and business leaders to take action in protecting the environment. Planting trees, taking part in a neighbourhood cleanup, reading and learning more about nature… every gesture counts!
Looking for ideas on what you can do to mark Earth Day this year? Find an Earth Day event near you on the official Earth Day website! And for added inspiration, the Science Centre has a special selection of articles from our blog about different environmental topics.
