Virtual Extraordinary Talk by Aerospace Engineer Farah Alibay

10am to 11:15am (in French, SOLD OUT) and 12pm to 1:15pm (in English) – For audiences 10 and up

Just barely 34 years old, Farah Alibay already boasts of a brilliant career in the field of aerospace engineering. Farah was in fact the one who got to pilot the rover Perseverance as part of NASA’s 2020 Mars mission. That’s quite an achievement for a young girl who grew up in Joliette, Québec! Did you know she almost decided not to apply for the job? Farah will talk to us about her accomplishments, but also about second-guessing herself. She will also share stories about her career path to help young girls realize that you have to dare to dream!
Both talks will take place after panel discussions featuring Manon Yelle, Senior Manager, architecture solutions at Amazon Web Services(AWS), and Rivellie Tchuisseu, D. student in environmental sciences at UQAM.

Seating is very limited. Buy your tickets now!
